Welcome to Careviya. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, https://careviya.com, and the medical tourism facilitation and related services provided by Careviya.
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our website and services.
1. About Careviya
Careviya is a medical tourism and healthcare facilitation company that assists international patients seeking medical treatment in India.
Our services may include:
- Connecting patients with hospitals, doctors, and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinating medical consultations and treatment enquiries.
- Facilitating the sharing of medical reports with relevant healthcare providers, where authorised.
- Assisting with treatment estimates, appointment scheduling, and hospital coordination.
- Providing guidance regarding travel, accommodation, visa documentation, and other related arrangements, where available.
- Supporting communication between patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
The services available may vary depending on the patient’s requirements, destination, and the availability of healthcare and other service providers.
2. Nature of Our Services
Careviya acts as a medical tourism facilitator and coordinator. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, Careviya is not a hospital, clinic, diagnostic centre, or medical practitioner and does not independently provide medical diagnosis, treatment, surgery, or emergency medical care.
All medical consultations, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, procedures, and clinical decisions are made by the relevant qualified healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions.
Careviya does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be suitable, successful, or available for every patient.
3. Medical Opinions and Treatment Decisions
Any treatment information, preliminary assessment, estimated cost, or medical opinion communicated through Careviya is subject to review and confirmation by the treating hospital or medical professional.
The final diagnosis, treatment plan, procedure, duration of treatment, and expected outcomes depend on the patient’s medical condition and the treating doctor’s professional judgment.
Patients are responsible for discussing the benefits, risks, alternatives, potential complications, and expected outcomes of proposed treatment directly with their treating doctors before making a decision.
Careviya does not guarantee a cure, successful treatment outcome, or recovery within a specified period.
4. Hospital and Healthcare Provider Relationships
Careviya may coordinate with hospitals, doctors, laboratories, and other healthcare providers to facilitate treatment for patients.
Healthcare providers operate independently and are responsible for their own medical services, professional decisions, facilities, personnel, and clinical outcomes.
Hospital availability, doctor schedules, treatment costs, admission decisions, and medical recommendations may change without prior notice.
Careviya will make reasonable efforts to assist patients with coordination and communication but cannot guarantee admission, appointment availability, treatment eligibility, or the performance of independent third-party providers.
5. Patient Information and Medical Records
Patients agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information relevant to their enquiries and requested services.
This may include personal details, contact information, medical history, prescriptions, diagnostic reports, and other documents necessary for treatment coordination.
Patients should inform Careviya and the treating healthcare provider of any relevant changes to their medical condition or medical history.
Careviya will handle personal and medical information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Patients must not submit false, misleading, altered, or unauthorised documents. Where information about another individual is provided, the person submitting it must have the necessary authority or permission.
6. Treatment Estimates and Payments
Any treatment estimate, quotation, or cost indication provided by Careviya is preliminary unless confirmed in writing by the relevant healthcare provider.
Actual costs may vary depending on medical investigations, treatment requirements, hospital selection, duration of admission, medicines, complications, additional procedures, and other factors.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing:
- Hospital and medical charges are payable to the relevant healthcare provider or designated recipient.
- Travel, accommodation, visa, diagnostic, medication, and other third-party charges may be separate.
- Patients are responsible for reviewing the final quotation and payment terms before proceeding.
- Any coordination fee charged by Careviya, if applicable, will be communicated separately.
Careviya will not be responsible for additional medical expenses arising from changes in clinical requirements or circumstances outside its reasonable control, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement.
7. Travel, Visa, and Accommodation Assistance
Where requested and available, Careviya may assist patients with travel planning, accommodation arrangements, visa documentation guidance, and related logistics.
Patients are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid travel documents, meet applicable immigration requirements, and comply with the laws and entry requirements of India and any transit country.
Visa issuance, immigration clearance, flight availability, and entry into a country are determined by the relevant authorities and service providers. Careviya cannot guarantee visa approval, immigration clearance, or travel arrangements.
Patients should obtain appropriate medical advice regarding their fitness to travel before making travel arrangements.
8. Appointments, Cancellations, and Changes
Appointment schedules and treatment dates are subject to confirmation by the relevant hospital or doctor.
Patients should inform Careviya as early as reasonably possible if they wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment or treatment arrangement.
Cancellation charges, refund eligibility, rescheduling fees, and deadlines may vary according to the policies of the relevant hospital, healthcare provider, airline, hotel, or other service provider.
Any fees paid directly to Careviya will be governed by the applicable written service agreement and disclosed cancellation or refund terms.
Careviya will make reasonable efforts to assist with communication regarding cancellations and changes but cannot guarantee that third-party charges will be refunded.
9. Refund Policy
Refunds, where applicable, will be assessed according to the relevant service agreement, payment terms, and applicable law.
Payments made directly to hospitals, airlines, hotels, or other third-party providers are generally subject to those providers’ respective refund policies.
Where Careviya has received a service or coordination fee, any applicable refund will be determined by the agreed terms for that service and the work already performed.
Patients are encouraged to review all applicable charges, cancellation conditions, and refund terms before making payments.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes any refund or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
